Black and Tan

The sun was shining again this morning, so I decided to break out my chinos! I love how cropped pants immediately remind me of warm weather. The rest of the outfit basically followed the 'light layers' theme, and I added a scarf when I was outside. I think it's interested that, even though 30 for 30 is over, there are a few pieces that I've continued to fall back on. This black cardigan, for example, is so soft and well shaped that I find myself constantly reaching for it.

Manic Monday was certainly today's theme. I would also call it stressed-out-about-the-future-and-work-and-school-and-life, but I feel that borders on being too much of a mouthful.

On a lighter note, I actually got some recreational reading done this weekend! I have this awful habit of reading multiple books at once, and this weekend was no exception. I did, however, add a new book to the line up and I'm loving it so much I can't put it down! I can't say my academic readings are too pleased about that... Book review to come this week!
