Twenty-five.
Twenty-five.
Well my goodness this is kind of terrifying.
I'm twenty-five.
My brain keeps yelling "I've been on this earth for so long! How?!"
But also it's kind of terrifying.
Moving on. I thought I might take some time to share my birthday traditions as a means of calming myself down and remembering that it's just a birthday.
I like to throw on Sixteen Candles and eat mini fruit marshmallows. Why? I don't know. But I've done this for the last ten years and I don't see it stopping any time soon.
I also like to stay up until midnight the night before and take some time to reflect on the things I'm grateful for, what the last year has brought, and all that I have. I will also tell you that this typically happens while I'm looking out my window into the night all super dramatic-like {because a girl is allowed to be like that on her birthday. Why else would this song exist?}.
Finally, I call my parents and thank them for the whole creating me thing. Because I wouldn't be the person I am today without them. Thanks.
