From the Oven: Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

I bake at least once a week for the meetings I hold with my staff members. Since I love reading baking blogs myself, I thought I might share my weekly baking adventures on here.

Recipe:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup butter, soft
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 cup chocolate chips {I used melting wafers instead because I like their size}

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Pour mix into a greased bread pan {or muffin tins, if you're so inclined}. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Let cool in pan for ~10 minutes, then transfer to cooling rack.

Recipe somewhat adapted from here. I like to experiment a little when I bake, so I usually find a recipe online or in one of my cookbooks and change it as I see fit. Just because I can.
