Since work is basically my life right now, I figured I might as well share the reasons why I love it so much. And on Valentine's Day, no less! So here we go...
5. The fact that I always have people I can feed my baking to. I love to bake, but I'm just one person, so I'm happy that all I have to do is open my door and I can quickly find mouths to feed cookies to.
4. The community. There are always amazing initiatives, programs, and events going on so I rarely feel bored or like I don't have anything to do.

3. The 'warm-fuzzies'. When I go to my mailbox in the morning and I find little notes or pictures with messages on the back, I am reminded that I am surrounded by an amazing and caring team. (see picture above)
2. The skills. I have worked in my department for three years now, and I consistently find that I am learning so many things that are helping me improve both professional and personally.
1. The people. The people, the people, the people. I legitimately cannot express how lucky I am that I am surrounded by absolutely amazing people everyday. My supervisor is incredibly fun, supportive, and inspiring, as are the members of my co-worker team made up of six other supervisors. My staff make me laugh and make me proud on a daily basis. And finally, the reason why I even have a job, the students. I work with first-year students and I love being able to watch the transformation that occurs in that first year of school.
